I’ve seen some pretty speedy caterpillars in my day.
I swear the tree only won because of the way the poll was originally set up, i could be wrong, but from memory it was the first choice and there were no pictures available at the start? I remember being annoyed at how it was set up, almost like they did it deliberately.

But real talk- We now have bees, wasps, snails, grubs, etc. Where is this caterpillar!? And also- Praying Mantis, Lady Bug, Cockroach… let’s make em all
There’s also the decidedly large number of NE players who were still super salty aboit Teldrassil, and the memers voting on the tree so they could “burn” it

I wish time made the challenges easier again.
I did about a dozen specs in Legion once the artifacts got stronger and you could gear up more, but now that there’s no real cheese strats and I’m not putting myself though the healing challenge or Xylem…
i think blizzard thinks if they throw enough recolors of the snails we’ll be happy >:(

To be fair, they’re more than just recolors. You have the crazy machine-snails from ZM and the crystal snails from ZC. I believe even the shell shapes are difference. The cavern snails being conical shell snails.
It’s a little higher effort than just making one blue and the other red.

The demon you have to kill for the tank spec Mage Tower. Highlord Kruul. Has adds you need to kill before they channel a basically instadeath spell, NPCs you need to protect, Infernals that never actually die, big bursts of damage that gets stronger as the fight goes essentially meaning there’s an enrage timer, a buff you need to interrupt or cleanse asap else he will heal massive chunks every time he hits you, and massive knockbacks all throughout the fight that need to be dodged or use Heroic Leap or whatever else you get sent off the ledge to your death.
Doesn’t help you had a phase 1 where you fight a completely different demon with completely different mechanics you had to do or die to. There was just so, so, so much going on in that fight that it was easy to screw up, miss one thing, and either you or Velen dies.
