Where's the blizzards, Blizzard?

I remember when there were snowstorms in Azeroth, back when we had to hike up hills to get to the raids.

Then snowstorms were removed from the game entirely.

There should be snow in northrend, however there is only one teeny tiny place that a snowstorm is actually present and it’s located at the icy crater littered with the frozen remnants of a frost giant vs earthen battle in storm peaks.

The only other location outside of the one in northrend, is the tippy top of highmountain, where every now and then it’ll be all micro-snowstormy.

I haven’t seen nor heard of any snowfall AT ALL in Winterspring or Dun Morogh in over a decade.

I have even wandered about in classic (where the old weather effects should be, if anywhere) and no one has seen or heard of any snowfall there either, to the best of my knowledge.

So my question is: Why does a giant company that is named after a BLIZZARD hate blizzards so much? What’s up wit dat?!

You’re a mage. You can make a blizzard anytime, anywhere you want.

Well, yeah but that’s a lot of work for one mage! I need some support here from the Kirin Blizzard Tor :frowning:

I have mentioned this in the past and not many seem to care about it. It’s just a small detail that would really make a difference and used to be around a long time ago but it was stealth deleted out for the most part and no one knows why.
It’s mind boggling, really, and I can’t get past it.

Call me crazy, and I might be wrong cause I don’t have the game open, but I thought there was a Weather Effects slider somewhere in Options.

Anyone who deals with snow above the age of twelve hates snow.

It’s only magical to people who never see it.

Blizzards? Hmmm, DQ comes to mind. Darn it. Now I want ice cream.

Please, I am a 30 year old who lives in Buffalo NY. I love the snow!
