Where's TBC Classic?

I just logged in to play Wrath classic and noticed TBC is gone. What happened to it?

They aren’t doing a TBC server. TBC has came and went. :pensive:

Gone.

Just like Classic turned into TBC, existing TBC servers are now Wrath servers.

At this time there is no TBC servers, and there’s so far no announced plans for TBC SOM, thank god.

Nonono. Classic WoW remains in Classic Era. The option to cross The Dark Portal into retail progression servers was offered and many took it, like lambs to the slaughter.

Ah yeah technically true. I forget they kept classic era realms that you could copy your toons over to.

TBC is awful, the gameplay and questing is so awful. It is just painful to lvl another char to max

Those are actually copies of the old realms.

Actually, technically the option was to move/clone your character over to a Vanilla client. The existing servers did progress to TBC, and now Wrath

Eh, seeing as how progression realms get deleted and Era ones do not, it’s the progression realms who are the copy. This is reinforced by the fact that they are progressing through retail’s expansions and as such no longer Classic WoW.

Actually, characters had their toons duplicated into progression realms and then both versions locked until a choice was made: retail WoW or Classic WoW.

if you dont like leveling then play retail you can get max level in a day or 2

If you think those era realms are going to be around much longer i have a bridge to sell you.

actually wrong - if you went afk they deleted our characters
if you didnt cross the dark portal but went afk then blizzard threw our toons into the void

soooo dont expect classic era to succeed when they decided that all afk toons are forced cloned into tbc crap and classic era deleted

then I wonder what the point is of keeping a wow classic around, if the other classic is just going to keep changing?

wow classic is still there. not sure why people are saying it’s gone.
