As you may already know, the new campaign chain is a bit of an intro to our journey to Undermine. Yes we get to see some more of the bat people but I know little more than I did going in, so I’m not going to focus on that.
I will focus on Renzik, AKA “The Shiv”. He’s a pretty big deal: Second in command in SI:7, directly under Mathias Shaw, he has proven himself to be a very effective spy in numerous situations.
Doing the quest chain, he has various lines but unlike almost every other character during the chain, when he says his lines, he is dead silent. I get it: Gazlowe has had a VA for years, but why are completely unnamed random Goblins given the VA treatment over Renzik?
There are situations where Gazlowe, Renzik and…Really I’m drawing a blank on the lady’s name, I see and know so little of her that she hasn’t stuck, but Renzik just interrupts it with silence.
It’s just…awkward.
What gives? It’s not like he’s a brand new character. He’s been around for a long while. Think he at least deserves some VA’d lines.
