"Where's my heels?"

I’ve been patient. I’ve kept quiet. I’ve watched countless trial of styles gone by. My question is:

Where are my heels?

Now before you say heels aren’t practical during war, I would beg to differ. Have you ever been stepped on/kicked by a stiletto heel? They HURT and they can be used as a desperate last resort (A stab in the eye, a l lung puncture you name it!)

Running/walking would be a non issue as I would be mounted OR levitating.

In conclusion,

That said, I too would like heels. Even some boots with a larger heel would be nice. Sylvanas gets some heels, where are mine?

On my male troll yesterday and really felt like what he was missing was a pair of those pimpin’ platform shoes with the fish tanks in the heels. If those are in I support this thread. If not, I don’t care :slightly_frowning_face:

In fact… they did! Have heels, at least.

Heels can be traced back to 10th century persia, where males would wear them to better keep their feet in stirrups while riding a horse. The heel provided a convenient and stable “anchor” so the foot didn’t slide off!

They would spread from there, and be used in many forms and fashions by men all around the world! By the 1700’s, women had embraced them fashionably, as well. (To make the foot look smaller, for women, not to prop up the butt)

None of these are stiletto’s, of course, but heels have been around for centuries, and used for fashion for at least three centuries!

Neat! Love learning about historical things. Wasn’t aware about that but my interests have always been more tailored towards arms and armor/wars and historical european cultures.

Unfortunately wow is a very tame game. Most of the armor and player characters are not overly sexualized.

Personsally i wish we had at least more options to sex up our characters and armor if we like. But it’ll probably never happen.
