Where's Everyone?

I know there are a lot of people in Boralus which makes sense given that it is new content, even though people don't RP there... as least not that I have seen.

But going to Goldshire, Stormwind, and other places where RP is usually common, I don't see anyone? Is Stormwind and Goldshire still sharded heavily?

I know there are multiple guilds doing events in KT and Arathi, but the Realm Status is full and I still don't see many people.

Also I am not in Warmode and I don't think that many people actually use Warmode.

You are being sharded and can only see a few dozen people per zone, a bit more in cities. I have no reason to believe this has been reverted, even in Stormwind.

I haven't noticed sharding lately, even in Boralus - it's easy to tell, as everyone I know who's logged in and is in an area, I can see. Addons like TRP also report the presence of everyone in a zone and I'm not seeing big groups showing up on the scan who I can't see in-game.

Not to say that it doesn't happen, maybe like...two weeks ago on the weekend, somehow I got into a mostly empty shard. But it doesn't seem to be happening regularly from what I've seen.

Quite a few do use warmode, but RP has moved too, not just Boralus but around the world. There's quite a bit going on. Was there something specific you're looking for or just general RP?

I don't get why they havn't invented the RP tag to shard roleplayers into their own little shard. That'd resolve all the problems of trying to find roleplay in these great cities.

I've been seeing lots of people every day for months. If sharding were in effect, I'd have had even a single incident of being alone in stormwind over the past several months, but I haven't.

People don't usually RP in new content zones because it's new content.

Level restrictions, no flying, mobs are current level so can be trivial to fight if wearing RP gear.
