Where's Crowley at?

And why is he not the leader of the Gilnean people yet like ever since Gilneas was lost he’s been on the front lines fighting for his people and their home whilst Genn sat around in Stormwind sucking up to the king of the faction he abandoned and practicing screaming Sylvanas what’s the story here :dracthyr_comfy_sip:

I mean, what even is he fighting for? Pretty sure there is a truce between Horde and Alliance right now and he definitely isn’t in the Dragon Isles exploring. If he is making guerilla warfare against the Forsaken in Gilneas he would sabotage any chance of negotiation to recover the lands without bloodshed.

So uh, the only thing he is probably fighting right now is his kidney as he drinks ale in cheap taverns.

Politics are a thing, and Gilneas’s good standing with The Alliance and with Stormwind specifically is as valuable to the nation, if not more so, than any victory Crowley could win.

Which is probably why Genn is king.

Mister CROWLEY!

Genn is stuck in a time loop where he yells “Noooooo! Sylvaaaannnnnnusssss!” at the sky.

I think blizzard forgot lol.

There’s too many characters in this game that get 5 seconds of screen time, and then never show up again.

Perhaps he’s taking time to reestablish the Gilnean Guard or perhaps he’s finally taking it slow and spending time with his daughter.

  1. Genn was fighting to keep his people and the rest of the Alliance from being crushed by the Horde/Legion/Horde again.
  2. Why would Crowley lead Gilneas? Gilneas is a KINGdom and succession rules mean if Genn were to die it would go to Tess, his daughter.
  3. depending on what happened after the Forsaken questline in Shadowlands, Gilneas is already back in Gilnean hands.

Last I remember he sacrificed his own life to trap Lucifer in the Apocalypse world.

Oh wait you’re not talking Supernatural are you?

You know that whole chunk of story that players conveniently forget when they spout crap like Alliance and Horde merging? He’s currently engaged (since BfA) leading the fight against the Forsaken to reclaim Gilnean/Hillsbrad lands.

But hey, Horde and Alliance merge makes sense though. /s

Isn’t he hanging out with Aziraphale?

Hadn’t actually heard this yet. Not sure if it’s alliance only, or if I just missed it.

Last time I remember seeing him was as a warrior follower in Legion, and only for the alliance lol.

Yea he’s an important character at least among the Worgen. Not really huge in terms of the entire Alliance. Last thing mentioned is that he’s fighting to reclaim territory taken by the Forsaken when Sylvanas ordered a death march to acquire more soldiers.

You rang?

Also gothic architecture is tasteless.

Wait, you are not talking about Good Omens?

Here is a story telling potential Blizzard will totally fail at:

Undercity agrees to give back Gil’neas, but it does not include the Shadowfang keep and Pyrwood villiage area. Genn, feeling guilt and loyalty to Crowley after the events of the last few years and during the invasion of Gil’neas demands Crowley’s family lands are also returned.

Fenris Isle and Ivar Bloodfang becomes another sticking point, as that was historically Lordaeron territory.

And then Southshore becomes an issue.

And Arathi.

And now the Warcraft storyline is back on track to what it should be.

I hope so! In a quaint cottage somewhere.
