Remember Vereesa or Ashe Windrunner Folks?
Last Time I saw her was in the Comics. Its too bad that Windrunner Sisters like Vereesa or Alleria are just taking the back sit instead of being involved with the War Right now.
When will we see Vereesa and Jaina being BFFS again? I miss Jaina and Vereesa being Friends together during Mop.

You know Vereesa Windrunner.
Vereesa kind of looks like Ashe from League of Legends but as a Elf.
It’s probably best to just refer to her as Vereesa. Besides, Vereesa has been a character before LoL came out.

Hmm oh yea since the books and Wrath.
Still out there wanting to be the very best… like no one ever was.

More-so the other way around. League of Legends was inspired by Defense of the Ancients, the old Warcraft 3 custom game. And one of the founders worked on that as well. Ashe’s character model is probably based on Vereesa or Alleria in how Windrunner/Windranger was.
She’s also a single mom of two, she’s got stuff to do

My mind went to Ashe from Overwatch instead.
Now I want there to be a rifle totin’ High Elf, and her mute arcane golem sidekick, somewhere.

That’d be rather cool. There is a history of cross-over skins. Dwarf Torbjörn. Blackhand Doomfist. Kerrigan Widowmaker. Hopefully we get an elf one day.

Vereesa was just in that comic they put out at BFAs launch about all 3 of the sisters.
Being a Stay-At-Home mom.
Buuuut, I get the sneaking suspicion that she is going to be making an appearance later on in the story.
Remember when Vereesa literally forgot her children and almost accepted Sylvanas’s invitation to rule Undercity right until the end? Quite an exemplary mother.
Anyway, I think Alleria replaced her role (with Void Elves replacing High Elves). She probably won’t matter that much.

Hopefully dying in a fire somewhere along with the rest of the abomination that is the Silver Covenant.
Less human worshipers in WoW would be a most welcome development in light of the complete mess that is BfA.

Its important to keep in mind that the Silver Covenant as a military force is an extension of Dalaran’s armed forces. If Khadgar is keeping Dalaran out of the war, the sad truth is, the Silver Covenant likely has to abide by that decision as well. I think this is why we’re not seeing Vereesa or the Silver Covenant right now.
Mind you, Dalaran staying out of the War is pretty foolish to begin with. Blizzard has stated that Khadgar has featured too prominently for a few expansions in a row and doesn’t want players to get tired of him, which some were by the end of Legion. There was also the concern that, once a neutral character picks a side, it never sits right with the players. I think the exact words were, “Well, we asked ourselves, how would it feel for Horde players to fight Khadgar, who’s advocated for them and been their friend for so long? It’d feel terrible, and make them feel like the bad guys.”
Granted I don’t know why fighting Khadgar would make the Horde feel any more like bad guys than their current portrayal does…

I never said she was a great mom. I don’t think she forgot about her kids at all, I think she was deliberately considering leaving them.
However I do want add that human/elf relationships actually are very rare. Her and Rhonin getting together was already pretty unique in Azeroth, then they had children, who are technically a new “race”. Rhonin was a Legendary mage who has worked with other major players in Azeroth’s story, he was Korialstrasz’s apprentice. With her guiding the Silver Covenant and him leading the Kirin Tor, you could say they were the biggest power couple in Dalaran. Plus he died in an heroic self sacrifice. It wouldn’t surprise me if Vereesa had a form of ptsd, which could be a cause of questionable judgement or rash decisions.
Vereesa: What is my purpose?
Knaak: You carry my character’s children
Vereesa: Oh my god

To be fair this was one of those things we saw coming, that Alleria returning and going team Purply Blue, essentially stole Veressa’s story role as representative of the non-conformist Quel’dorei.
Alleria even pretty much one uped Veressa in every category, except dead husband.

I think it has less to due with their association with Dalaran and more with their association with the Alliance itself.
I feel that the complete lack of Silver Covenant presence, Vereesa included has to due with the… nature surrounding the current state of High Elves.
The second we see them show up, in any capacity is going to start a whole new debate once again.
