Where would you in shadowlands when you die?

When y’all die where you gonna go?

Summary

We probably all deserve the maw ngl.

Probably one of the realms blizzard didn’t mention. Apparently there are a ton of different realms, all the ones involving the main story of shadowlands are basically different versions of hell anyways imo.

Out of the ones our toons visit. Probably Revendreth

I’m not trying to sound edgy here. I’m just well aware I’m powered by spite

As long as it’s during Ebon Court!

Easily Ardenweald.

I get to manifest myself as my favorite animal and chill in the sprawling forests 24/7? I get to watch plays, sleep all the time, play games with friends etc. Sounds like a blissful and peaceful afterlife.

The Archon assured me I’d be spared Revendreth as it’s full of dead Forsworn who showed up there as a result of me.

I’d love to be sent to bastion. Seems so relaxing but with a noble purpose. and now with 100% more empathy for different paths - e.g. the forsworn being welcomed back into the fold.

“Where would you in shadowlands when you die?”

Read your title, makes no sense.

It is missing a verb, but I think it is easy enough to deduce that they meant: “where would you go in the shadowlands when you die.” But I did have to read it twice for it to click.

I actually have already ended up in Maldraxxus because of my belief in victory at all costs.

I forgot why I came back to the world of the living…perhaps it was because the Primus wasn’t really what I expected, he was like a soft puppy.

Every player character would go to the Maw. We’ve been murdering humanoids for decades for coin & treasure – we’re not destined for anything but eternal suffering.

I forget how they all work

I’d be curious where characters who quit before WoD would go. After defeating the sha and garrosh, I think revendreth would be least likely.
On the contrary many during WoD probably developed character traits that would send them to revendreth.

I could see BfA and Legion invoking a lot of Kyrian and Necrolord conflictions.

Ardenweald is the odd one, and maybe more pure in terms of being more likely for those least likely to be influenced by the world and time. In a way that would mean they’re the most stuck in their own way.
In my past house of contructs necrolord no doubt. Now? I mean if I stick to the same things I think revendreth has huge appeal, I’ve never been big on duty or grovetending.

Personally, I highly doubt I’d end up anywhere we visited in that expansion. If it were up to me, I’d rather just be a ghost, at least then I don’t run the risk of being unwilling fuel for one faction or another.

Bastion sounds cool. Uther was able to toss Arthas into the Maw, skipping his judgement by the Arbiter. Being able to just toss the souls of people you don’t like into the Maw sounds awesome.
