After the undermine patch with the goblins where will story of 11.2 take us?
Will we see the Haranir in next patch or Qirajs near Silithus with the Sword?

I think the Sword is being dealt with The Last Titan.
Now as to the Haranir, they might be 11.1.5 or the 11.2 focus with the Rootlands.
I am really hoping we get a journey to the Arathi capital, even just for a moment.
I’d also like to see Faerin’s impression on Stormwind since it seems she’s so eager to go and see for herself.
I mean I think Arathi Capital would probably be saved for like other side of azeroth expansion. Would be waste to see them alot earlier.
We could potentially try to rebuild the Arathi settlement for Hallowfall Expedition in that city that used to be part of the Death Knight starting zone.
I think that’d be neat.
True hmm yea.
I’m getting my hopes up that Blizzard is really moving beyond “the story of Azeroth is the story of the Alliance.”
I afraid that this hope will only make the disappointment worse when they find a way to make a Goblin zone be about the Alliance.
My personal bet is Rootlands. I think we are going to meet and get to know the Haranir a bit.
I think the Earthen were done first with basically no introduction because we already knew a fair bit about them. We need to at least understand a bit of the Haranir to get us to around that same point. Then I think they will be the new playable race next expac.
I think the Arathi are the actual Arathi from the past and they got sealed in time. They ended up underground when they awoke because of the planet changing over many years
That doesn’t explain the mixed elven heritage or Arathi Emperor Thoradin IX. Did the holy burning light crusade aesthetic even exist back during the Arathi days?
The cave entrance at the Roots will be a path to Beledar as the Haranir see the Song of Beledar as that of their Goddess.
Our job will be to stop Azshara who will be the Blind Queen who brings doom from the deep.
Her eyes are foreseen to be destined to be lost as her skin slides from bone as she howls for the Light she once despised.
The Dark Heart is so filled with Necrotic Death that when Azshara consumes it’s power instead of the Azerite that Xal’atath is getting Gallywix to mine the Naga Queen will rot and lose her eyes and use the Light to fuel her Glamour that will be lost whenever Beledar’s Night falls.
Xal’atath is an honest businessman filled with paranoid cutthroat customers who are out for blood.
Ansurek was already demanding war before Xal’atath came whispering into her ear promising the power of the Black Blood.
Neferess taking Xal’atath’s deal(which was shake her hand and get her people uplifted by the Black Blood) could have ensured a prosperous reign yet she refused and thus her warhawk daughter seized the throne and sent the Kingdom on the path to ruin with her incompetence and willingness to offer her new armies to the attack on Dalaran.
Neferess if she had accepted would have simply sat out Xal’atath’s attack on Dalaran(despite Xal’atath’s attempts to guilt trip her) which would have used Kobyss not Nerubians as Neferess reshaped her people into something grander than before.
Xal’atath is honorable. Her allies are not. Xal’atath is Lawful Evil while her allies are Neutral Evil.
I am assuming, whatever that Nightfall world event is leading too.
Yes, literally the kingdom of lordieron before it was that was by a tribe of humans in Tyrs fall that worshipped the light. That religion being adopted to all the humans was the condition given to Thoridan the first for them to join his vision. Before that, humans were still very shamanistic and drudic in nature.
Also these Arathi are an offshoot of high elves and humans if the first kingdom, not those people themselves. They’re just descendants of a lost group of humans and high elves that interbred for 3k years.,
My point is that an expedition from over 1200 years ago seems to have a lot of technological/fashion parity with modern day Azeroth. Basically: even if we assume that the Hallowfall Expedition are mistaken about the timeline or their history, none of the details support them being a time-locked expedition from old Arathor.
I chalk that into world soul shenanigans. The fact so much coincidences like this keeps happening on Azeroth over and over again from the spider people to the Arathi or the Earthen culture to the dwarfs of IF l almost being the same, even though they never met, tells us it is Azeroth herself that is shaping us
