Where we dropping boys?

This game mode is so freaking simple but so freaking good

It has been literal YEARS since I could play WoW non stop for two hours and not feel like I just wasted an ounce of my life. Absolutely zero regret messing around with this new mode so far. Well done Blizzard.

Looking forward for added features down the line. There is so much potential in this mode, and synergy with retail as well: like I’ll clear a heroic raid if it lets me use my class’ tier appearance for the respective raid in Plunderstorm–sign me tf up

That would be something, might even replace m+ which would be interesting.

Except it isn’t WoW. It’s a mini-game, like Teamfight Tactics to League of Legends, jammed into the client.

That was very clearly the point though

WoW has such incredible IP and their own custom engine. It’s a little crazy it took this long for them to do such an ambitious spin off.

WoW will die if they don’t innovate like they are doing now.

if you’re talking about plunderstorm, you aren’t playing wow

Except this game mode isn’t WoW. It might be fun, but it’s a totally separate game.

id rather it die then have them integrate BR into Retail. sure let em create a game from it but just dont tie it to retail and let the 100 BR workers they hired be a part of that game.

if the game cant innovate new ideas that are good for the MMO genre then it deserves to die out.

I cant stand this plunderstorm crap and i think the majority of players agree. once people start getting the last of the rewards it will disappear into the ether like all the other crap. We dont want mini games. We want new content for the game we actually pay to play.

it is a wow asset game , its not using wow characters its not even got wow spells its just using a wow asset for the map and npcs therefore it is not wow.

heck at first i read it and thought oh yea you can pick up icebolt / avengers shield etc and mix and match them. but nope its not even real wow spells

no it isn’t.

Honestly I’m glad you like it. I’d even love if they’d rip the retail-oriented cosmetic stuff out and give the game mode its own cosmetics.

I agree full heartedly they need to explore more standalone game options. Maybe dedicate a team or two to it. WoW’s engine is too good not to.

And what if it doesn’t? Then what?

You want new content that is easy enough for a parrot to complete so you can steamroll through it and then complain about lack of content

Yall have been playing the same recycled template for the last half decade, please take some time to reflect on what it is you are willingly paying $15 a month for.

This is new content wtf are you talking about?

Players: blizz make new fun content.
Blizz: Here’s a battle royale. the most popular genre in the history of gaming.
Random pve’r: wah wah, i want “real” content.

How is it not? It’s literally WoW’s engine. What is WoW then?

:dracthyr_a1:

the dna test results show, this was incorrect.

sorry but your logic doesnt track other than it being a BR its still easy enough for a parrot to complete, the only difference is what place you come in at, and whats worse is the fact for all the trouble you go through you get nothing extra for winning. just a congrats you like BR’s

thats like saying bethesda adds a BR to skyrim but uses completely new spells and abilities and saying its skyrim. just cos a game uses the same engine does not mean that its the same game.

by that logic its saying every game made in unreal engine or unity is the same game

Maybe that’s why I’m actually having fun.

I will continue to play Fortnite instead because it is superior to Plunderstorm.
