I’ve mostly ignored everything regarding battle pets, but I want to start knocking out some of the achievements. The only issue is that I have no pets lol
Is there a good method I should follow? Like, is it better to start with the old world to complete the quests and work my way up or work from newest to oldest?
Edit: Also, does it really matter what quality I should be capturing?

“Best” method is mostly personal preference and a bit dependent on your resources. You can skip some of the early grinds by making some purchases, speed things up if you have a fully developed garrison, etc. If you hunt achievements you are probably familiar with that sort of thing.
The curve tends to be that everything is hard/slow/costly at first and gets easier the more stuff you have at your disposal later. That usually isn’t great game design tbh but it’s what we have. Your early pets you might want to spend the extra time to find blues but once you’re fully established you’ll have piles of stones to just turn things rare and you won’t need to hunt (unless you find you enjoy it).
