Hi gang! I just recently returned to WOW and ED. I made a new character, so I am pretty much stuck in SW as far as big cities go. So, I was wondering where is the RP taking place? I haven’t seen much in SW so far. I would appreciate some direction. Thanks!

ED like every other server is really quiet atm with no progression until January.

I’ve been on ED for almost 2 years now. It’s a great realm and not “dead” by any means. It’s a good place with a unique identity, flavor and take on WoW. People are mostly friendly and helpful but if you’re looking for a hopping 24/7 RP realm there are better choices than ED. There’s a small amount of walk-up style RP but, as others have mentioned, most of the RP is hidden within guilds. ED has a few server/cross-faction events that are always fun, however, they do not advertise them much in game or on the forums. Lastly, ED was previously labeled an RP-PvP realm and that is very much still a MAJOR part of it’s identity. Friendships and rivalries run deep on ED and that is because of the many prior years of WPvP. =)

People do not come to ED for the RP anymore. You will usually find RP within guilds and closed events. If you wish to have RP then go to Wyrmrest Accord or Moonguard; neither of which are as good as Emerald Dream.
