So I just did the new raid on Normal and my parses were abysmal. Like sub 10s. Ive never looked at parses before but surely with as much as I tried to do I figure id be above a 30%.
My dps and total damage was also competitive with others in the group when I looked at meters and accounted for gear.
Id like to get better and not feel like im being carried, anyone have any recomendations of who/what to watch so I can nail this down?
Just practice and repetition untill you become familar with the rotation. Enhance is among the more difficult specs to master too. It probably hurt and affected your rotation because you don’t have a tier set from last season which most people have.
You’ll be able to get a better gauge of how you really do a couple weeks in once everyone has their tier and is similar ilvl. Right now you have some people in groups still at 441 ilvl while other dps are 460+. Tough to read parses this early on as some of the numbers could just be gear dependent and having BIS trinkets and what not.

Aside from missing pretty much every enchant and not using a flask or pots, you have some rotational hiccups from what I could glimpse on wcl on mobile. Not having tier and then the abysmal trinkets don’t help either. Like the other guy said you’re going up against everyone who was already full BiS coming out of last season.
I’d review the priority, and as of late you can probably check Stankie on YT for a decent guide. There are some misleading videos I’ve seen for enh this season so I’d stick to him or Tigel as a new enh.

Your secondaries are also unfavorable for Enhancement. You’re very heavy on Critical Strike, which is a terrible stat for us, and relatively light on Mastery, which is far and away our best. The vast majority of our damage is being propped up by Mastery, so even with perfect play you’ll be hitting much, much weaker than a comparable ilevel player with more ideal secondaries.
You basically want Mastery >> Haste > Crit/Vers.
