Is there a popular way to gather Felslate or does it just entail mining deposits around Broken Isles and killing residing mobs?

I buy all my mats with Blood of Sargeras, it helps to get the mission and have a follower with cost reduction. Broll Bearmantle makes the 12 Blood of Sargeras mission down to from 2400 to 1680. I’m sitting on well over 120+ Bloods.
The basilisks drop them but in low frequency
I guess I should have added that you have to MINE the basilisk corpse…not just loot.
I went out after posting the first time and Im already over 200 gathered in about half hour.
If you get any Ancient mana crystals, they can sell for up to 1000g depending on your server, so thats easy gold too.
