Prior to 9.1. the Maw had some weekly quests you could do, and you would be awarded with some spirits in addition to the stygia when completing them. But I noticed for 9.1 the weekly Maw quest that remains for Perdition Hold doesn’t offer it. Are there other sources for getting spirits in 9.1 if you no longer can from the Maw weeklies?

Rares in the maw drop them
That was the case prior to 9.1 but they weren’t guaranteed to drop from the rares while they were a guaranteed award from the Maw weekly quests. Do they have a higher chance of dropping from rares now than they did prior to 9.1?

Not sure. Actually, after doing basically all the Korthia daily quests, i might have only gotten one or two. Cant really remember how many i had before tuesday.
I get mine from quests from my covenant hall. I only plant two a week.

Those are rookie numbers, let’s get em up to at least 12 a week.

I keep getting “artisan satchels” with meat and fish. Even got an epic (purple) satchel with not very epic prizes inside.
Pretty sure I’m just going to stop using the Conservatory. Unless they add a komodo dragon soulshape (and it eats gnomes) !
It isn’t listed in rewards, but once you complete the quest you still get it. Well at least I got it yesterday, maybe not 100% chance?

Doesn’t seem to be purple spirits though. The Maw weekly used to give a guaranteed purple. Now I hadn’t gotten one since the patch. And I have killed a lot of names and quests farming armaments for my new main.
