There area number of stories in the lore about families. You are right, lots of them were killed in the war. When we were in the Maw, one fighter we were with found his father who had been killed and was being held captive.
Might have eaten them, sorry. They were just laying around.

As a Void Elf you might have the background that your parents are still Blood Elves and as such aren’t talking to you anymore, since you started hanging with the wrong crowd and embraced the Void.
I remember aaaaaaaaaaaaages ago I had some now very extinct lore for Rosenivy that his mom was actually a nelf

I think mine became the blue plate special many years back.
IICly, we escaped Quel’Danas on a ship from Sun’s Reach, but the Scourge hit some ships. My mom and I are only left of our family.
I do sometimes visit Sun’s Reach and pray.
