Where my pvpers at....?

It has come to my attention i maybe on the wrong server… I have been into pvp since i started playing (back in cata) and that’s when i felt pvp was great for my experience, though since then i have realm transferred, quit many times, due to financial or real life issues. Mostly during draenor and legion, i ended up taking a long hiatus. Anyways, i started playing BFA because i felt i was in a position in my life i could start playing again. Though I never was a hardcore player, nor a casual but somewhere in between. I only did a couple of mythics during legion, but it was blah, i never really liked dungeons or raids, what really got my blood flowing was pvp… but returning now and seeing what has become of pvp… it makes me a little sad. I’ve been jumping guild to guild, ever since the end of cata. I had a really good pvp guild back then, and we did all things pvp, RBGs arenas, etc. Now all i see is mythic+ carries, and mythic raiding guilds, and hardly any pvp guilds. where are all the pvp guilds? has pvp become so obsolete or an exclusive thing now or just nobody does it anymore? Note i don’t push hardcore arenas or tournaments, but i would like to get into arenas eventually, I would say i pvp more than the usual pve raider or mythic+ player… but idk the guild im in and the realm seem to not enjoy pvp as much or don’t frequent it hardly. I may realm transfer if it means a guild/realm is more pvp/wpvp oriented and does progression for pvp…any help will be appreciated. I kinda want to know what everyone feels the state of pvp is in wow… because it feels like its been put on the back burner for the time being and forgotten … =(

Sadly pvp is not what is was back in cata. But it is alive and well! Most pvper are housed in community’s. Now the guild I am currently in is a pvp guild. If you would like your more than welcome to join our dueling community. Shoot me a btag invite Dustin#1859 if you would like to join.

Yes this is true, I been a GM of an all pvp guild on my server, In Mop I was not the Gm but a officer and WOD we was one of the most active guilds on server and we was a pvp guild on a pve server. we just felt some players got burnt out of the raiding thing during that time and wanted something different so they joined us.

We had at one time 3 RBG teams running each week, this was shortly lived but we at least had the main team running each week during these times, plus wpvp and BGs and arenas… we had a blast. The servers we are on now does not matter any longer they are all Pve type servers with the option of Warmode for wpvp and plus they are all Xrealm now.

When Legions hit and the incentive to pvp died so did my guild, no pvp stat gears, no pvp vendors, basically it all turned into a pve game with some pvp elements like BGs etc. I still have the guild but we never have more then 2-3 on right now at any given time, down from having 25 plus on each day. Most quit the game, the few that did not quit the game joined as you said Mythic type guilds.

Plus with xrealms now you may never see those players you fought ever again, where back in the day we knew who was pvpers and who was geared…what I am getting at is pvp meaning right now is about as deep as a bird bath in BFA.

Sadly the guild I am part of is an Alliance only guild, they are based out of my home server sargeras. And the horde guild that Galath is in is a pve guild.
Like the others have said the community is a bnet community.:cowboy_hat_face:

I like the name sounds pvpish

what is the name of this pvp community so i know im joining the right one

So… I am quite disappointed with this lame faction war thing with unfair War Mode, favoring the Horde. Not to mention unfavorable conditions for the Alliance in any PVP instances. It’s a bit unbalanced (actually quite a lot if you look at the number of horde players vs alliance). There’s no thought behind this. It created a Horde-centric culture.

Did you know that Hordes can queue as a mercenary in random pvp and then they just afk or they come in with a very low gear stat and not heal anyone? Yes. Hordes sign up as mercs and then they AFK to help their horde buddies.

So, what your saying equals a form of win trading and against the TOS. I’d suggest submitting your “proof” to Blizzard.
