So from what i’m reading, the reason you don’t do that is because the tank will throw a temper tantrum and throw the metaphorical toys on the ground and stomp out and thats because everyone else is being rude.
You pull, you tank.
Nothing I enjoy more than watching cocky DPS die.

Maybe I will! Maybe i’ll tank AS a dps because its a leveling dg and the tank that gets all huffy and stays in the back can go say hello to a boot to the head.

Tank has always set the pace. I don’t tank, but if I did, anything you pulled is yours alone to fight. Tank is the leader. Not you. Full stop.

I have so much spite for almost everyone that I stopped grouping entirely.
I genuinely hate most people.
When I tank, I have 1 speed. Mine. If you don’t like it, you’re free to tank it yourself or find a different one.

DPS have always set the pace. If your DPS can kill 5 packs at a time in a minute or so, pulling anything less than that is bottlenecking your group.
Tanks are not the leader, they are meat shields that exist to pick up mobs so DPS can effectively kill them, nothing else.

Some days I just wanna be a mindless wind up toy while the dps do all the work, damn it.
I think I gave up being petty over who pulled years ago. Now if it’s aggrod I’m picking it up no questions. 3 packs? Sure. Someone kited into a patrol? Why not! I only ask that dps don’t save their cds for Christmas, which a lot of noobs do.

Have you tried doing what’s best for the group?
Don’t mind if I do. We’ll kick you and get a good tank that doesn’t hold back their group
So The Tank Going “we go my speed” and you going “We Go MY SPEED” are not the same sentiments?
