All other characters have their voice files datamined by now, Where are the voice files for Sylvanas? Is Blizzard storing them all in cinematics videos so that we have to wait and see until the expansion comes out or when will they be leaked. After Kael’thas Sylvanas is my favorite character and I hope I can listen to her voice soon. Love for Patty Mattson. She’s a great voice actress.

They’re changing it.
They realized everyone knows exactly where they are going with her (and are not happy about it). So, in the interest of “subverting expectations” they are modifying stuff. It’s going to be awful, awkward, and disjointed like a bunch of the BFA story threads that make no sense.

They haven’t datamined a bunch of audio files, even though they are already out.
Ysera, Shandris, half of Tyrande’s files, Sylvanas?, Draka, Vashj all have voices, but they just don’t seem interested in putting them up this time.
If you have a 9.0.1 beta listfile for the data storage, it’s easy to go through the data files with a program like WoW export tools.

The only confirmed 9.0 Sylvanas stuff is when we briefly interacting her when we show up in the Maw for the intro. And then Blizzard was talking about how exploring the Maw would allow us to learn her goals but I don’t know if that will be present at launch or as future patch content.

If it’s not there at launch then that defeats the purpose of what they promised before in an interview.
They said that they understood not knowing Sylv’s motivations for so long was frustrating and not at all compelling, so they said to fix it they’d just have her lay it all out as soon as you get to the Maw.

I admit I’d find it fantastic if Blizzard engaged in some self deprecation and had the end of Shadowlands start to play out like Kerrigan’s ascension before one of her many enemies shanked her in the back and interrupted it. It’d be an amusing dose of reality.

So far the majority predictions have been spot on lol
I sure wish I was part of “everyone” because I honestly don’t have any idea what the hell is going on.
Some people are saying “Oh, see, Sylvanas is Kerrigan.”
Other people are like “Sylvanas is Adolf Hitler’s wow character, and we can finally kill her now.”
Other people are like “her soul was split, and the real Sylvanas is good!”
Others say “Sylvanas is (insert random stupid theory)”
Sooooo, idk what’s going on, but IMO, she was never going to be a major part of 9.0. But I honestly would not be shocked if Sylvanas’ audio files, video files, X-files, Necro-philes, or any other thing pertaining to Sylvanas were hidden from datamining and everything else.

Sylvanas is renegotiating her contract. She wants script changes.
We don’t know if we’re going to see much of her in 9.0, and a bunch of the cut scenes are still hidden/not implemented. As far as learning about her motivations goes, we can still do that without hearing about it directly from her in such a way that would involve voiced dialogue.
It was always going to be redemption. HOW is the question.
Gonna be honest, its still early beta from what i can tell as a tester (yes i know we are VERY VERY close to release, but that doesnt change the fact that its still kinda early based on the stuff currently in) Aside from that stuff like music and Voices are usually added in last, they have, homever added a ton of voices last week even the Jailer has a voice atm (altough it is VERY VERY silent).
