Where is the Portal to Darnassus?

The Ship is no more, now the Mage at the Dock says use her portal, but there isn’t a portal. What is Blizz doing?

The portal should always be there and take you to Zidormi in Darkshore. That would make better sense.

There should be a portal there. Is it not appearing on this character or is it another one?

Idk if you heard, but Darnassus was burned to a crisp in an epic Forsaken bonfire party :person_shrugging:

Alternatively, you can talk to a Bronze-Dragon to take you back to the time before Teldrassil (and Darnassus with it) was set ablaze.

Change timelines. It might be that it is burned down in current timeline so no reason/option to go there. I think default, low level timeline is DF so it is gone in that Xpac unless I’m mistaken.

EDIT: Ignore low level comment since I had just read another thread about the same thing but with low levels. Old brain fart, lol.

EDIT#2: Have the same problem with Undercity in current timeline. Have to have lady revert back.

Loaded a different toon and the Portal was there. Exited the game. closed the battle net, reloaded, and the Portal is still not there both toons are in the same realm. Not sure what it is doing will take the long way. Ugh!!!

Is the character who isn’t seeing it new? I’ve noticed that I need to turn in the allied race starter quests before portals opened up for my new characters, as well as for Dracthyr non-evoker. I suspect there’s probably a quest trigger in the Exile’s Reach questline that does similar.

If it isn’t that, I don’t honestly know what the cause would be, but the best workaround I can think of would be taking the Stormwind Portal Room portal to the Exodar or the Cataclysm portal to Mount Hyjal, then flight path/skyride to Darkshore

Make your way to Darkshore. Find Zidormi to switch back to the earlier time. Then you can fly from Darkshore to Rut’thean Village, a small island near Teldrassil where you can take the portal to Darnassus.

was your second character lower level, as in still in the pre burning time?
