You claim that using two hands is less efficient in terms of leverage then one hand, daggers were never meant to be used with both hands, that is why the blades and hilts are so short. Look at any 2-handed weapon in history, long hilts. Or swords which were used for half-swording, long blades that allowed the knight to grip the blade and slam it down alongside the hand which grips the blade. Do I honestly need to explain this to you?

The hypocrisy is strong with this one. You claim that me pointing out how stupid it sounds that you guys are saying untrained soldiers with improvised weapons are a threat to trained soldiers who are heavily armored and heavily armed. The number of hands does not equal power. Dagger techniques laid out by medieval weapon masters like Johannes Liechtenauer, Andres Lignizer, and Fiore Dei Liberi described using daggers in a reverse grip (Ice pick grip). stabbing downward with the blade to increase thrust and penetrative force.
These techniqus were not reserved for the combat elite either. In fact, the Baselard Dagger was the most common weapon among civilians in the 14th century.

Then I have no problem with you. I never argued that Dazar’alor was worse, I am arguing that if something is bad once, it is always bad, and that ‘You did it worse!’ is not a valid excuse.
The only argument that we probably disagree on is that I believe that it COULD have been worse if the Horde had not stopped the Alliance and pushed them out of Dazar’alor.
