And depending on which side you take again, thank you sloppy writing blizz, for the Horde side those breaches are traps.
Dead serious.
What happened after teldrassil?
“they will come for us now, all of them!”
“how many are out there”
“too many”
“live, another day”
“without honor?”
so our payoff is, we are all doomed, and we will have to live without honor.

And what happened before it?
Enjoy that.
Now its our turn to enjoy something or is that wrong?
Ah that frame, so you take the whole aspect ‘Not officially a war yet! NOT OFFICIALLY A WAR YET!’ when the Alliance have committed acts of war against the Horde way before? Okay, by that point, the Zandalari were not allied with the Horde because it wasn’t official yet.
There’s nothing that suggests this. Offer proof to your claim. And if you just say “play Horde side,” I’m going to assume you have no proof and therefore no argument.
“Without Armor?” - referencing the lack of Shoulder pads.
No they had not, and even if they did, The Horde still did it first in Ashran. Good job, you are wrong both times.
This whole expansion (and last) is you guys getting to enjoy something
Wish the horde would get to enjoy something. To be fair, im not so angry about 8.1 than i am about the horde zones in bfa where we do nothing but fail at everything we do against even non alliance entities.
Those are your arguments, really? Alright: The seedlings were not done under command of Sylvanas, a traitor did this. Theramore? Legitimate military target. Gilneas? Garrosh. Andorhal? Combatted in a threeway war between Horde/Alliance and Scourge, not sure how that makes us the bad guys, good try. Theramore Survivors: Garrosh, Southshore. Your point?
It has nothing to do with faction warfare or BFA.
Sorry.
Nah me and you are done. Dont bother trying to engage with me any further.
Ashran doesn’t count as that is AFTER the cease-fire treaty made between Vol’jin and Varian, nice try. The ones who attacked first after that was the Alliance.
Everything that’s happened is after the cease fire treaty, the hell you mean it doesn’t count?
I’m starting to think OP is just really, really bored at work.
Ashran (WoD) is after the treaty? Are you stoned?
So is BfA, what the hell does the timing have to do with it?
I don’t think you’ll find many Alliance, “enjoying,” Battle for Azeroth. There’s nothing more frustrating than getting sucker-punched at the start and then being forced to hold your punches because someone else decides you’re taking the High Road. I don’t think it’s as bad as what Horde players have to endure, because once all is said and done and we’ve moved on to future expansions, Alliance players can say, ‘at least we took the high road,’ but I don’t think anyone is going to particularly enjoy the story. We’ll be frustrated with it, and there won’t be a satisfying pay-off.
As for Legion, I won’t say I didn’t enjoy it, because I did, but I won’t say I enjoyed it as a fan of the Alliance. I enjoyed it as a player who loves the Mage class and was able to do something WoW had never presented me with the opportunity to do before; immerse myself in Mage lore and content.
The ceasefire was put forth after Garrosh was overthrown, so Ashran is clearly after it. Said treaty was put forth in War Crimes, wherein the Horde were mostly left off the hook to rebuild, as well as being allowed to keep Stonetalon and Azshara in order to kick night elves in the teeth some more.
However, Ashran inhabits a weird, nebulous area in that it’s almost only partially canon. NPCs on both sides said that the other side started it first, and there is no canon first punch thrown.
[Boi!] Are you serious? You cannot compare a war from before, which was resolved and say that it was a reason for the current war. It is really simple. The treaty was made after WoD, after Ashran, there was peace, a common enemy. Genn was all like, nah fam! Fel raining from the sky? End of the World? Who cares! My petty vendetta from ages ago matters more! SCREW ANDUIN! ATTACK!
Bro… that’s how cease-fires work LOL.
You sign a cease-fire, then you don’t attack each other. The Horde attacked us. There is even in-game dialogue.
Stormshield Guard 2 says: Did those mongrels forget that we’re supposed to have a treaty?
The Horde themselves say it many times.
Saurfang approved. The season of war would come again eventually, as it always did. No reason to rush.
“The boy in Stormwind will not start a war tomorrow,” Saurfang said.
On that, you and I agree. “Do you have your mind made up, Warchief? Are you driving us to war?* Despite the cost?”
“I see an opportunity. I need a plan to achieve it,” Sylvanas said.
“You are asking us to start a war with the Alliance,” he said.
“Does that trouble you?”
Lorash’s eyebrows twitched. “Not in the slightest. But you are not offering us enough of a reward. If you expect us to launch our attacks at the exact same time on the exact same day . . .” He sighed. “Some of us will have to strike at inopportune moments. That is a large risk.”
