I just noticed there is no fresh Oceanic server & that Blizzard doesn’t consider the Oceanic region to be a region.
There were a few thousand people wanting to come back to this game to play on a fresh server. There would have been thousands more on US servers or heavily populated servers that are hugely imbalanced that wanted to make the move also.
At least they removed the genders in game though, am I right?
Gonna need more than just the word of a player that “A few thousand wanting to come back.” for Oceanic. The servers they have barely have enough people to give them a population as is. A fresh would be just another ghost town.
Maybe you should browse the forum a bit better then… there were several threads amassing over 1500 posts, many of people talking about them & friends that had planned to come back, ex guilds etc.
I’m in that same boat, I had several main friends I was going to play with & my WoW Classic guild was making a come back, that’s over 20 people alone for just me
None of us are re-subbing to play on a US realm
Go scroll through the large threads & see for yourself
Blizzad have said nothing because they are cowards
The current oceanic servers are horde servers, people got sick of being dominated & then having bg’s moved to US servers.
Plenty of people were keen on a fresh start. A fresh server play isn’t comparible to a pre-establiushed server play
You will never make friends the same way, you will never get to know as many people as you level, everything will be over inflated in the AH, too much bought gold will be swapping hands & everyone will charge for a “tanking service” etc. rather than just playing
I played on Argual since classic & through a bit of TBC & I have no interest at all in going back, I have been looking forward to starting fresh with my friends for months now
Keep in mind that the majority of players don’t come to these forums, you will never hear from most people who wanted to come back
Nope, still have to choose a male or female body. They just changed the character creator a move it to a different spot. Its not labelled but is still male or female.
Yeah I can search just fine. And of your 1.5k posts they are literally the same handfuls of people and in some cases they aren’t even Oceanic players. Going to need more than that.
Show me the “handful” of people in the threads that have amassed 1500 posts. A handful is easy to find, so come on. Let’s see that handful of names & we’ll see how many posts they’ve made in those threads.

So the number would be well over 1500 showing interest based on those threads

If you want to play allaince skyfury is perfectly fine for OCE players as west coast US ping is hardly noticeable.

Argual is a crap server, it’s a horde server, you know its true.
Blizzard probably thinks it’s not worth it to open up a fresh server when your region doesn’t have enough players to sustain their own battlegroup.

So how is Blizzard incompetent and dumb(here, not elsewhere)? Looks like a player created issue and, if anything, they don’t just want another horde-dominated dead OCE server.
You guys can’t even get your own BGs and Arenas going during off times and you expect yet another server?

“Nice try”? I can make up numbers too. I have 1,555 friends who won’t play if Oceanic realms get another server. See how that works? You can say anything you’d like, whenever you’d like. But it doesn’t mean it is accurate or true. So can you prove these 1,500 people exist or not? Blizzard needs hard numbers. Not just you and your word. “Just trust me on this one Blizzard, honest.” Isn’t exactly reliable.
