All 3 of the new classes added fit very heavily with the theme of the Xpack. The closest for this xpack would be Death Knight which… if you wanted a dK, I have good news for you!

I don’t know, do we really need one right now? There’s 12 classes already. And they mentioned it earlier around 8.2, but they might be planning major class revamps. Seems more important than an extra 13th one.

No new classes. No new talents. What you’ll get is “Covenant Power” that you can feed into a thing called an “afterlifefact” and then there’ll be a belt, and a ring, and a trinket that you power up with Covenant Power!

Totally revolutionary.

Blizzard never made a promise of making a new class. A lot of people believed they were for some reason. Blizzard could but they never made a promise to make one at all. Why, though interested, I just kept it at speculation.

Honestly, all these new people unaware of the real possibility of breaking the class/race addition cycle are arguing it all wrong.

If you make breakfast for your spouse every sunday for 10+yrs, then suddenly stop, it gets noticed.

My concern is less “No new class” and more “If we’re not getting a new class there better be a giant pile of updates, options and tweaks to make up for it. You certainly gave yourself the time.”

You sum up my feelings. Unless they show us the Time-gating and bullcrap of having to endure Sylvanas was actually WORTH it, I just get a headache thinking about the direction of the game.
