There was a portal to mecagon (gnomecan) in oribos, but its not there anymore…
Where are the new ones?
the mecha/kara portals in oribos were there because those dungeons were in the last season of m+. they’ve been removed from the dragonflight s1 rota so the portals themselves are removed too. there are portals to the new s1 ‘old world’ places (jade forest, shadowmoon valley etc) in valdrakken, by the keystone trader near the bank.
if you need to get to kara, as a mage the quickest way is probably to fly from stormwind/stonard post (horde). for non-mage horde, you’ll sadly have to go org-> zeppelin to stranglethorn vale and fly.
if you need to get to mechagon, you can fly from boralus, use the engineering: kul tiras wormhole generator (although it’s equally as likely to send you to tiragarde or drustvar) or unlock and craft some ultrasafe transporter modules using scrap.

The portal was added for SL’s S4 Because mechagon was one of the dungeons…
The season is over and the portal is gone

Leaving portals in old hubs ruins immersion and is killing werld pee vee pee outside of Warmode.
If you gonna spell the locations like that… BOTH OF THEM blizzard will keep them removed for good.
