Where is the low Battle Standard?

I have been leveling an alt toon through BGs. I have seen both horde and alliance use the Horde or Alliance Battle Standard in virtually every BG. Which I have on my main and other alts and have had for a long time.

I went to purchase the Horde Battle Standard from Brave Stonehide. In the hall of legends. For my lvl 25 toon and the tool tip says “Requires Level 60”.

So, where are these low level battle standards from? Where can I get mine. I have searched all the PvP vendors, and online for information. I could find nothing and all mentions of the level 60 requirement.

On a related note: I also checked on the alliance side, and the Alliance Battle Standard requires level 50… What’s up with that?

Tool Tip error hell. I have seen 63 Required in Red on various pcs of gear.
Buy it, test it.

I bought it (One Mark of Honor) on my lvl 25 toon, and tried to use it in the next BG and it said “not high enough level”.

I also did the same on my level 50 Alliance toon (which did not have the banner before yesterday). As mentioned before the Allaince Battle Standard says “Requires Level 50”. I was able to use it at level 50.

So, now the Horde Battle Standard can not be used in BGs until you are level 60, and the Alliance Battle Standard require level 50 to use. Infer what you will from this, though I am sure its an over sight on the part of Blizz. As is the level requirement, I can’t see the purpose for it.

If Blizzard is going to require a min level to use, they need to disable it for everyone else as well. Or remove the requirement on the item.

This actually happened to me around launch, it was fixed shortly after.
Since the recent tooltip hell, it has been hard to take stuff at face value.
Create a thread in bug forums imo.

I will make a post about this in the Bug Report Forum. In addition to making an in game Bug Report (tho I don’t think they ever read those). :wink:

My guess is the actual Tooltip Error (Requirement) is carrying over.
Edit: tested a fresh banner, not useable in bg due to level requirement (60). The Tabards from same vendor also show 60 req, they can be equipped without issue.
