Where is the Latino Culture at in WoW?

First of all, I was not wrong. If I was, I’d admit it. I said language mostly stems from Latin. Not all of it. And I will rarely ever admit that someone else is right, so I definitely will not claim you are right after being so rude initially.

But I suppose the German language isn’t Latin. That would explain why the language is so guttural and crude. Such an ugly language with no flow.

This is still very inaccurate.

Also do you know latin? Because calling german crude is hilariously ironic if you do. Latin is a monstrosity of a language if you ask me, while I loved learning it I can’t say it’s anything but ridiculous.

Lol.

Romance languages all sound similar. Kind of like how eastern languages all sound similar. That’s just how it goes. Most of language in Europe and the americas stems and takes a lot from Latin and Greek. I wouldn’t say I was inaccurate at all.

Latino Culture? what exactly are you talking about. Inca’s, Aztec’s, Maya’s, Wari’s, Nazca’s, Moche’s, Tiahuanacu’s, Paraca’s, Mapuche’s, Guarani’s culture is not Latino.

I like how no one disputed the fact that I called German crude and guttural :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes, you were.

Most don’t. Most of the world’s population is in India, China, Indonesia, the rest of Asia, the Middle East and Africa. The number of people speaking languages not derived from Latin far outweighs the number of people speaking languages that do.

Obviously.

My being right isn’t a claim, it’s a fact. And if you think that first response to you was rude you’re borrowing someone else’s account because no one with 5k+ posts around here could reasonably think:

…is rude when contrasted with what gets posted here.

No, really?

And it begat the one you’re typing in. The language of Shakespeare, Yeats, Oscar Wilde, John Milton, and every other English or American author, poet, or songwriter. Right, ugly and with no flow…

I’ve wasted enough time on this.

Are we talking about classical latin or medieval latin? Because Medievel latin does sound similar to other romance languages due to the italian influence. Otherwise it doesn’t sound or flow the same as other romance languages. Grammatically it is a monstrosity too.

To read latin is to read a puzzle.

How about French culture? Or Australian culture? Or Canadian culture?

Ooh feisty. I like you. Let’s have a war shall we? There are more languages that have Latin roots than there are without Latin roots. When I say most, I’m not talking about population.

And I never said English was a pretty language. French is my favorite sounding language. So suave. English is the hardest language to learn because of our grammar though, as it is drastically different from many other languages. It is not because our language sounds unappealing. If that were the case, then English would be as hard to learn as middle eastern languages, yet still easier to learn than north Western European ones.

Also, you are not right. Stop saying you are right. It just makes you look self important. Bleh.

Got it from Wikipedia.

en.wikipedia. org/wiki/Latino_(demonym)

The term Latino (/læˈtiːnoʊ, lə-/)[1] is a noun and adjective often used in English, Spanish and Portuguese to refer to people in the United States with cultural ties to Latin America, in particular to those countries which are Spanish- or Portuguese-speaking.

And Mestizos:

The vast majority of Latinos have, like I said, 60-70% Native American heritage. Many of them even identify as Native American. It shows up in DNA testing.

That’s a lot of reading that I don’t feel like doing right now. Summarize for me if you would.

Certainly. You’re wrong.

More reading and baseless claims. Still a lack of a summary. It seems I’m arguing with a wall.

I gotta ask, as a classicist myself, what is your program of study? Where is you expert opinion to be giving these blanket statements? You’re wrong on many points because of how vague and broad your claims are.

My program of study is upsetting people. I would call myself a professional, but that’s making myself self important, so I’ll just say it’s a hobby. And the fact that I’m getting this many people arguing with me is only fueling me.

Nah, I just hate players from the Portuguese/Spanish realms

He gets it.
