Make sure you’ve trained in the new tailoring. Other than that, focus on humanoid mobs.

A lot of the humanoid mob’s loot tables were nerfed due to 2 x 4 farming. So you are going to have to find areas that haven’t been nerfed in order to get decent drop rates.
This has to be bugged. I have Khaz Algar Tailoring on my mage. But I still have Dragon Isles Cloth Scavenging for some messed up/bugged reason. I am getting barely any cloth while questing. 6 cloth from 71 to 73. I just ran a dungeon and got 1 cloth the entire run. The only way I have leveled tailoring at all is from sending the cloth I get from my main by mining webbed nodes. There is no way this is working right.

I have found the most cloth (and even then it’s not much) in delves and dungeons. Outside of those, almost nothing.

So now that cloth only drops for tailors, and a lot of my alts do dual gathering to feed my mains, I have a question regarding TWW tailoring and cloths.
It used to be, obviously, everyone got cloths. Tailors maybe got a little extra. But now only tailors do. So on my dual gatherers, is it worth dropping an entire gathering profession, purely to pick up tailoring just for 1 expansion (and I guess the next 2?) so more toons are getting the cloths for myself?
First I thought it was weird they removed First Aid. Now only tailors get cloth.

Running Rookery on follower mode works fairly well. As others said, put your knowledge points into making gathering more efficient.
But yeah, cloth drops out in the world are pretty dismal. I also feel like I’ve gotten more from mining than from killing outdoor mobs, which is really weird.

I specced into cloth gathering on this character (my main)… I’m seriously considering feeding my cloth to an alt with tailoring and having him spec into armorcrafting.

My tailor specced into the cloth finding, has all 30 ranks. Cloth just isn’t dropping. Doesn’t feel good. Actually, it feels like I’m being punished for the actions of botters.

did it get fixed or figure out what to do?
I’ve had cloth drops in instances the past few days, but it’s a middling amount and I don’t know whether I would call it “enough” or “not enough.” I do have some points in the cloth finding spec.
Cloth isn’t that expensive though so I’d recommend just buy off the AH to get to skill 60 then the grind begins.
Where exactly do we spec for TWW tailoring? Is it at the tailor trailer in TWW or is it elsewhere? I think I may have only specc’d for regular tailoring.
i had the same problem today on two different tailors, one tailor i got 2 pieces of weaver cloth from 5 hours of game play. I though it was a bugged to tried on another tailor and same thing but zero cloth. oh and my tailor is level 50 skill points in tww tailoring with several specs maxxed. i had to buy cloth to get levels and it took all my gold from all my toons.
Was nice when i could get cloth from any humaniod mob on any toon,
