Are you me? Those are also the only specs I enjoy. They ruined arcane for me, I absolutely can’t stand it now. I fear they’re going to do the same to holy priest.

It’s a refusal. I agree they simply don’t have the time, but they’re choosing not to allocate that time to priest. Half of the classes have gotten repeated, sweeping changes touching nearly every talent at least once in the last six months. Some classes, like mage, paladin, and shaman, have received multiple complete reimaginings of entire talent trees.
Meanwhile, the only change priest has received from TWW alpha up until 11.1 is the removal of Mindgames, which was replaced with extremely weak talents that are only taken by shadow because there are no other options and are not taken by disc or holy, which is functionally no change at all because the same was true while Mindgames was present. Aside from that one non-change, the priest class tree is still functionally identical to the one revision to the DF alpha class tree priest received as they rushed DF out the door. Even the changes to holy and discipline are extremely threadbare, leaving many glaring problems utterly unaddressed.
Blizzard is simply choosing not to prioritize priest, which is consistent with their approach since the BFA alpha.

We really going to start S2 with tanks doing better(little or no ramp) and higher DPS(ST and AOE) than shadow?
You know why… they’re dodging all the Holy Priest ire that’s going to come their way for allowing this spec to take a back seat for another season.

Thankfully I’ve played a mage for 20 years, it’s good to see my main class getting massive love.
But my favorite healing spec has been frowned upon and spat on this whole entire season. We’re only good for raids, but you can only raid once per week and then lockout… WTF? You’re saying that for a day or 2 per week, our class can really shine and then it’s off to the crab bucket with us until next week?
Really feeling like priest is being ignored rn.
My sub time runs out in 4 days. Not sure I’ll buy any more time.
My family and I are moving 600 miles to a new state in a few weeks anyway.
Maybe I’ll check back then and see if anything has changed or if spriest is just going to be left like this.
