Considering you need a whopping seven THOUSAND of the things before you are elligible to buy a weapon that cost like 2.5k points, yeah, bgs should at least give some for winning. Won’t make a dang difference really but it’ll help.

Well people are Queing BGs everyday for a few hours. That adds up. TB should also give about 250 for a win too.
I’m concerned about a potential huge drop off in RBG groups in the coming weeks. I think in as little as 1 month it will be difficult to find even yolo RBG groups. I really think there needs to be rated solo-queue, or ideas like the OP’s adding conquest points to regular BGs. Or the ability to purchase conquest points with honor. Like 1000 honor for a commendation that gives you 100 conquest.
Abomb I’ve seen you get a lot of hate, but I agree with your takes on BGs. I think BG pvp is WAY more fun than arenas. I like weird builds, weird items, even if it’s that one rogue/druid on the enemy team who knows all the jump-skips and is singlehandedly carrying their team. All solo-queuers going into a WSG or AB that turns out to be a close game with nail-biting moments is peak warcraft.

I hope you are right. I am just thinking about how even yolo 5s on monday night was getting pretty dry in ICC. Never played past wotlk originally so I have no idea how popular RBGs are with the playerbase as a whole. I capped with a guild team this last weekend and the queues were actually very fast, like nearly as fast as solo-q for random BG. Just concerned with 2024 players having the patience to form groups of 10 people once the hype settles down.

Agree. Solo Que is the future for BGs, Arena, RBGs. Solo Que would bring us the best BG experience as there would be no premades so organic PvP would be amazing. Which would mean if you want to do Premades then you can Que for RBGs.

I am thoroughly enjoying the rewards from arena. Why did they get rid of this? Retail is terrible in comparison.
Just doing Yolo 2s with a friend gives me 250 a win and 75 for a loss.
Meanwhile retail gives you nothing for losing and like 50 for a win. It’s horrible.

Having those nails biting soloq bgs is fairly rare
Usually it goes, in WSG for example, one team utterly roflstomps the other and proceeds to 3 cap while farming the enemy at the graveyard. And the team getting farmed has a revolving door of people quitting
Have you considered that the BG rewards should just be good? That the 50 conquest per win is pretty standard of a reward that is currently missing.
They should also make first win of the day bonuses first 7 wins of the week so you just get them all naturally playing whenever it is that you play.
to make BGs great, we also need to add a loss of currency for each defeat.
THEN we’ll see who’s who.
Why? As much as I love it, pugging soloq bgs isn’t a serious form of pvp

You just answered it. The majority of the PvP player base is doing BGs. Why not have the standard reward. Please and Thanks. This isn’t a debate and there isn’t any arguement against this.
