Any idea what happened to Yrel in the main timeline? Did she die during the attack on Shatrath, was she sacrificed to open the dark portal?
I think in the early beta it was that she had died during the Horde’s war against the draenei. Maraad felt guilty over it so he went out of his way to keep AU Yrel safe. But that was all cut from the game, so I have no idea what the current fate of MU Yrel is.

Never existed (like a reverse thrall or garrosh) or dead. There was a storyline about maraad that dealt with that but it was axed.
Before argus was released back in legion a character named yrelka was datamined but she got axed too.
Also brace yourself for someone posting that screenshot of the outland road with a skull highlighted. That meme in wow circles is akin to posting Astrid with Pictures of pigs shopped next to her on 4chan

I mean, it’s totally possible that Yrels bones are in the Path of Glory. It’s probably what’s most likely. Considering we find Yrel as a prisoner in Tanaan jungle it’s probably not that far fetched to say that our timelines Yrel got sacrificed to open the dark portal.

Probably dead. I liked the incredibly implausible theory that her and her sister were the Eredar Twins as little sense as it makes.
