Dark Angels attacked all of Sylvy’s enemies including Tyrande, but according to Shandris she fought them off. Then when Tyrande confronts Nathanos, asking where Sylvanas is, his reply is that “she is with him” which then begs the question, who is “him” he is referring to? Then I thought, why isn’t Malfurion by her side?

Off being useless again. For such a powerful character lore wise… he manages to give off an aura of weakness and inaction in the game.

Sylvanas dumped Nathanos for a better man which is why Nathanos is sulking at his house with his dogs.
But the NPCs don’t know about the Jailer, we haven’t encountered him yet. Bolvar only hints at another force controlling the helm in Icecrown, but doesn’t know much else about this mysterious puppet master.
Nathanos could. If there was anyone that Sylvanas would share that bit of information with it would be her boytoy.

He’s probably reorienting Kaldorei at Nordrassil while Tyrande goes hunting.
True, but of all characters, Nathanos may be more informed on Sylvanas’s oh so devious plot than anyone else

But how does that pertain to Tyrande’s questioning? She has no idea on the Jailer, saying “she is with him” has to be someone she knows if that’s going to be the response.
Not true, Tyrande subs to wows YouTube channel so she saw the jailer.
That was Nathanos’ way of messing with Tyrande. He was trying to piss her off, not be helpful.
