Are you sure about this? it works with quests that you can turn in on dungeons, you can see the difference of the exp you would get at the end while in a dungeon and outside… of course you will get less exp if you finish the quest outside the dungeon since the buff isnt present on open world…
Yeah idk the people that say its too grueling or its too hard or whatever are kinda just looking for a reason to complain. Even without JJ, if you do 3 zones all the way to achievement in northrend and you pick up the dungeon quests as you hit their levels, youll be just about 80 anyway with the lowering of xp needed to level. On my priest last week which was my latest leveling run, starting at 68 i did nothing boring about borean, then i did dragonblight through to achievement, then did storm peaks just up to the end of the hodir attunement and i was 80. On my rogue right now though doing 58-68 in outlands this week, i didn’t even notice that there was an issue with JJ until one of my guildies mentioned it yesterday evening, im sure that it undoubtedly slowed me down but with just heirlooms since the buff was off, i averaged about an hour per level and finished up outlands last night maintaining that speed. Sure JJ makes its nicer to level especially when you’re trying to finish every class to 80, but tedious isnt the word id use, and if anything, not having JJ just adds 2 or 3 extra days of leveling and an extra zone to zone and a half of questing which just means that people would likely end up closer to exalted with warsong offensive and closer to having the 4,000g needed for epic flying with exalted warsong just from questing and vendoring. I really enjoy the buff, its been getting the last 4 toons i need to have every class at 80 up a lot faster than normal, but people threatning their sub over having to do 1 extra zone are def just drama baiting.
Whatever the issue with JJ is, the fact that its still active when you go in dungeons and when the bug came up almost certainly means that whatever they did when they patched in the ICC scaling buff for the raid this week somehow affected JJ and now its being treated similarly to the new ICC buff in that its only being activated inside of instances instead of being a global buff.
I feel you because i also like having JJ to work on the last 4 classes i dont have max, but if people really hate leveling THAT much that they refuse to do it without the buff, well theyre probably also not the type to do a lot of farming and selling either so theyll probably go wow tokens for money so why not just cut out the middle and buy character boosts to 80, then no one has to level without joyous
it’s more about time management at that point then hating anything. i don’t know anyone that likes saving time with JJ that ‘hated’ something or other without it…
however much i enjoy leveling toons, people need to stop acting like everything in a game has to be enjoyed a certain way for whatever made up reason people want to use to make themselves feel better while they attempt to belittle others opinions and playstyles at the same time.
and please, dont’ act like it isn’t well known there’s plenty of players that don’t like leveling toons at all.

Half the exp loss a dungeon now. It’s hardly a big deal and this tiny outrage we’re having.
Also people do like leveling here, it’s the fact they got spoiled by the buff and now the toys are out the pram because it’s bugged. Btw, endgame is dead right now because of SoD so there’s no need to rush. I’m having more fun leveling my mage with RDF and occasionally questing anyway than these terrible endgame players lol.

Considering that patch was last week and JJ broke after THIS WEEK’s reset yout theory would seem to have no basis.
All this people yapping about how the rest is “annoying and bad” for asking for a fix for this thank you so much for the free bump…
Meanwhile I’ve decided to just put all my characters on rested exp farming… it works for me regardless… not a race considering that this version literally lack tanks across all level brackets and even on endgame dungeons…

Too all these people saying we don’t need this yeah people don’t need this to level . It’s the fact they gave this to us and now it’s broken and seem to have no idea how to fix. If this was a new instance or raid they gave us and was broken , all you people that say we don’t need this would be the first ones complaining .

If it was the other way around and there was an exploit or cheese, it would be fixed immediately and magically.

I see the buff back. 
randomly doing laps on dalaran saw a lvl 73 with the buff on decided to log on an alt and it’s there…

Yeah strange. I logged on my pagle character and it was there… logged on benediction and has no buff. I’m guessing they are going server by server? nothing makes sense at this point…
FYI -
According to the login screen, there’s another maintanence scheduled between 7AM and 8AM tomorrow morning (Saturday Dec 9th).
