We have a solid raid team of mostly mature players most of the time .We have raided every week for the last 3 1/2 years as a guild raid team. We offer full clear Heroic every week and begin Mythic Tuesday. We offer a time efficient raid team where chants, pre-pots ,cauldrons ,gems, and repairs are provided for. We also run higher keys as guild ,vision groups, arenas and war-mode groups as well . What we are LF in our raiders is non toxic personalities, above average performance and improvement , solid attendance, being ready to go and personal accountability. They’ve all gone to play mages and warlocks as they’re mad that they now have a melee spec. As if anyone ever hunted with a spear. C’mon!
Its hard to get into raids anymore, so I only try for Legacy(which ppl quit after one death) and AotC(Only allowed when its about to end).
I want that.
Beside, they roll mage most due to how derp it is right now.
Funny the Warlocks said they all went to play hunters and the mages are all taken .
I became Casual since after WoTLK. I play when I want to play. Raiding Schedule wont work anymore on me. My hardcore days were long gone.

Except people that hunt with spears typically throw their spears. SV hunters don’t. They are more like a brawler than a hunter IMO.
That’s one goal of SV being tuned is so that it’s not like Fury with a pet.

Historically no, they did not just throw their spears. Before bows existed if you threw your weapon you died. There’s a difference between a spear and a javelin. Spears are thrusting weapons, javelin are throwing weapons.
The specific range of use for Spear depended on the time period and environment.(spartans throw theirs, but have swords. Tribes threw spears at prey)

Spears are typically not a hunting weapon unless used as a throwing weapon. For warfare they were used commonly with shields back in the day.
Sad that humanity never came up with an invention that made a spear obsolete…

I wish we could use bombs as our primary weapons. All bombs all the time. Who wouldnt love to hunt with loads of BOMBS.
I don’t mind if hunters used bombs, but too many bombs would make it a Tinker.
