Where does DF rank for you?

Since we’re nearing the end of the xpac, where does it land in the grand scheme of all the xpacs you’ve played?

Personally feel like the start of the xpac felt really great, promising even, then it kinda did the good old Blizzard move of making it miserable

Definitely one of the better ones. :dracthyr_blob_dance_animated: I’d sort of like a bit more frequent pvp tuning, though. Oh, and dungeon tuning because lmao 1 comp for the past 10 months or something.

Probably 4th, behind TBC, MoP, and WoD respectively.

Dragonflight was actually not bad as a whole product.

I’d like things tested and tuned before they go live, ideally.

Not mentioning Legion you got my respect.

I’d swap better for easier maybe, but I can kinda see better if you’re talking about pve side of things too. Hard stance on the fact we got Augs/Rets/Etc in pvp entirely un-tuned and wreaking havoc (hehe) on ladder for no good reason.

I abstain from any opinion of Legion since I was gone for about 3/4 of it. The only esteem I hold for Legion was that it started the trend of weekly power grinds that plagued BFA and SL

Overall great expac for PVP. Solo shuffle was a huge success, class balance felt really good for the most part outside of a few outliers(Retpocalypse and DH nonsense).

At the beginning it had potential to the best because of the frequent tuning, and lots of communication. That became less and less frequent which spoiled it toward the end.

They probably realized that mid-late patch tuning doesn’t bring anybody back. Like, it’s nice for people playing but people often write off a patch early.

Easier than BFA and Shadowlands? Hmm. I don’t know.

Fair enough.

RSS kind of killed off my btag. So that’s a net loss for me, but people seem to queue it a lot.

All in all, I haven’t found it that fetching, but a lot of people have enjoyed it. So I would say it’s probably even with Shadowlands, which is the only other xpac I’ve PVP’d in.

Oh so now we’re just pretending we didn’t lose an arena match because you couldn’t find me in BFA.

Had they dealt with the outliers quicker (nerfs and buffs), could have been one of the best. Middle of the pack felt pretty balanced overall. While I think the crafting is a bit more complicated than it needs to be, I really like the flexibility for gearing. Will be glad when the vault is gone. I rarely ever got what I needed and the RNG can put players weeks to months ahead of everyone else.

honestly not even gonna lie prob my fav xpac of all time

its weird tho bc a lot of my good battle buddies seem to hate it more than BFA/SL

i guess we all prefer diff things.

i had a ton of fun playing alts this xpac. so many fun specs to play . dragonriding is cool, bg blitz is amazing , lots of great new mogs , evoker is one of my fav classes of all time.

honestly was a great xpac for me

Behind TBC, Wrath, MOP, Wod, Legion, BFA. So… 7th.

Third fav behind tbc and mop. Would be one of the best if it had the population of wotlk or tbc.

Those are days we’re never going to have again simply because all the cross realm shenanigans has forced the game into a position where servers and faction no longer matter.

That was literally Mugumbala during SL. Lmao

It was at the end of BFA. I didn’t play my DH at all during SL

It couldn’t have been in BFA, check my achievements, I made this account like the last 2 weeks of BFA and never met you/Ballin until mid-season 1 of SL after I got 2k in RBGs and met the requirements for an inv to Yayo. Lol

Maybe I’m fried. I actually do remember playing my DH for a whole like three days in early SL S2 to knock out the elite set. Maybe that’s when it was.

Miss him.
