Just checking to see if anyone here knows better sites to look up information on item drops because I’m failing.
I checked wowhead database and all I see is a hint in the comments
“I believe this has a chance to drop off of any rare during a Mantid assault in the Vale - there’s 4 transmog drops and they’re all pretty rare”
I’d like to farm it but can anyone confirm that or?
That’s the usual point in Transmog drops, they’re meant to be rare enough that you have to come back every day and kill rare spawns to get it. On top of that, each of the 3 zones in Uldum and the Vale have their own themes corresponding to which Assault is currently active.
Yea I understand. I just want to make sure I’m farming the right stuff since I know it’s rare and might not drop for a very long time. Can’t seem to find any info online about it yet this is the closest I have to anything solid.
It sounds legit just wanted to see if anyone else maybe smarter than me about farming knew.
I got a mog drop off one of the Uldum rares. Was a mog I already had though because it was a Legion weapon mog.
I’ve obtained one of the recolor mogs on my DK as well but I still see no comments about the actual drop for this bow.
In fact the only new update I’ve been able to find was a new comment on wowhead that is discouraging.
"well, after some weeks of killing many rares in both Mantid and Aqir assaults, I have not seen this bow yet, and I’m beginning to get worried at the lack of reports here
the other transmog weapons from assaults have a decent amount of comments on them, if anyone has acquired it please let us know!"
im interested to see if anyone knows more about this bow too.
I heard that a site called Wowhead can help you find more info about it.

By the looks of it you would probably have better luck grinding out the honor and buying one of the old original recolors.
Ya but I want the pretty purple.
Already got the pvp version, which is sort of purple but but not nearly as vibrant.
I’ve been farming the assault periodically but no luck so far.
Interestingly in the transmog list which is generally sorted by expansions in a timelime fashion it seems like it would be a MOP drop, not a BFA drop but it was added in 8.3 according to wowhead which does lend itself to possibly being a recolor drop from an assault.
