Where do you get the "boss drop" items?

There are many items that when you put your mouse over to see the source all they tell you is “boss drop”

for real, who thought it was a good idea ?

and i know with tab yu can roll down to see the other options but many pieces only one one and you have no other clue how to get it

like this one “Entombed Seraph’s Greatcloak”

non boss on the temple drop it and the wiki doesnt says either, for real warcraft really feels like a little indie company

WoWhead it.

If it says ‘boss drop’ but doesn’t list a source, it’s likely because multiple bosses from different locations can drop it.

It says that specific item, is obtained from catalyst.

You need to convert another TWW season 1 cloak, into that.

yeah, i wowhead it, and doesnt says anything

and as you said the wiki says thati must turn another object to it, but the main problem here is wow tend to do this with many objects

they really need better descriptions to how get things

a game that demands you to go to the wiki because for incomopetence doing the things right is so wrong in many ways, and let alone is is a millionare company

reminds me like fallout 76 and their bags and bottles collector edition, there are many videos talking about it if you care curious about it

big companies giving meciocre producs

Yeah, I won’t lie to you:

This cloak is certainly an oddity.

Normally you can obtain these things as actual boss drops, but it’s weird this item can be only obtained from the catalyst.

Not many items that work like that.

I remember this was a bit of an issue in Dragonflight. I think there’s a DK belt or something that’s also only available in the catalyst, too.

So when the next tier dropped, it became completely unobtainable until previous-tier items had their charge restrictions removed for the catalyst.

I think the Catalyst is, ultimately, a good thing, but it does lead to oddities like these cropping up with tier completions.
