- The First Dance has been redesigned – Remaining out of combat for 6 seconds increases the duration of your next Shadow Dance by 3 seconds. In PvP combat, the effect requires 10 seconds out of combat and increases Shadow Dance duration by 2 seconds.
Seems like they think Sub and Shadow Dance in particular are too powerful.
isn’t that an overall buff to shadow dance?
Depends really. The tempo of PvP is pretty high. It seems this rework is meant specifically to prevent Rogues from benefitting from it in PvP often. To put it in perspective you need to not attack or be attacked for 6 continuous seconds to “exit combat”. Then you have to wait another 4 secs of not being in combat to obtain the benefits of this talent.
In pvp exiting combat long enough to restealth is difficult as is. Adding more then 50% more time on top of that to benefit from this perk is steep.
In combat seconds matter. This will effectively mean you get this talent to work once. At the beginning of the fight. Because your allies can’t afford for you to spend 10 seconds doing nothing most of the time. And if they can, what is you say you do here?
it means we dont have 4 combo point when we use shadow dance, one more talent killed for blizzard creativity.
This garbage has no use in pvp and the old version was better at pvp and pve
