No you just buy gold. Blizzard doesn’t uphold the ToS. You’ll be fine.
Not sure how many they catch, but I personally know people who have been suspended for buying gold so you are taking your chances.
I know its controversial but if I could buy riding skill in the shop or gold from the wow shop I would prefer that to grinding.
You only get caught if you trade more than 15k gold a month. Its just an automated system. Blizz wouldn’t dare hire anyone to do anything that doesn’t make or save them money.
The Isle of Quel’danas dailies are a great way to kill an hour on a few toons. I do them on 3 toons per day and net a total of about 330-350g each day. Other than this, I have made and sold Netherweave Bags (I sell them well above the minimum price on my realm, and they still sell really well), and a few other items I can flip for a profit. I don’t have nearly as much gold as some people (I spend a fair amount of it), but I have 2 toons with epic flying, and still have about 21K gold across all my toons. It’s enough to go into Wrath with, and get dual-spec, plus cold-weather flying on my toons.
Sell twink blues for as much as i can reasonbly expect to get, stock deep sell steep.
Resell out of the way recipes lol.
A good gold farm for players in their teen lvls is fishig for deviate fish in front of wailing caverns, spot of land between two lakes in front of cave wont aggro mobs. Good way to level fishing and get some starter gold to boot.
that or join gdkp raids and get a cut of the pot that doesn’t mind someone else down the line buying.
They go to a different website and order it. Don’t let any of them fool you. It’s not one or two people, it IS TBC.
Spend $10 and save yourself 40 hours of work. That is how. You knew that, everyone else responding “do quests at max/Do your dailies” did it.
If you manage to join a GDKP, your hands are just as dirty as buying it yourself. I fully support money laundering in GDKP’s though, what i don’t support is anyone acting innocent. We are all guilty, we did this to ourselves.
We thought we did, but we didn’t.
Umm…we get gold by doing completely legal things in game, such as farming herbs and ore, and doing our dailies!
Gathering professions, AH, Farm Lower lvl dungeons and sell spoils. Do some research. Making Gold is pretty easy, you just have to spend some time finding out what works on your realm.
That last one is out the window now fyi.
Feels like bait mate, but I’ll bite. You’re playing a game that is intentionally being shipped with a 2004-2008 design mentality.
So…yes. Either that or learn to play the AH.
skinning in blade’s edge is where i made my millions.
That’s how I used to play as well, but it’s actually counter productive in most cases. If your goal is to actually net gold, any downtime/travel time cuts into efficiency so spending on flights and certain items that increase kill speed tend to pay off over time.
And the payoff of paying for flight paths is especially true if you’re using a slow flyer (or in many zones, a ground mount). It’s just lost time unless you’re really enjoying that journey.
if you are good at math / markets you can play the auction house.
Doing quests in TBC give you 6k gold. Daily give you 300g each day. People work for their gold, period.
this is not true
nah just do your dailies like the rest of us
