Meh, if people want to talk politics, let them. As long as it’s in a separate channel in disc so the rest of us can avoid it.
That’s also acceptable.
The guild finder. I’ll usually talk to the leader about a role I could fill in the future before even joining.

I dont know why the best person to ever play WoW (just dont check his logs), who thinks every single spec in boringly easy (just dont check his logs), who could run circles around ce guilds (just dont check his logs) and talks about quitting WoW would have issues finding a guild.
But there is a recruiting discord, and there is guildofwow.
but be warned. they check logs.
can be tough to find a guild that’s performing just at the right level for you.
mythic raiding requires the team to be set already, and a guild needing pugs/bodies for heroic raiding isnt a great omen.
kinda gotta get in early before they are raiding mythic and make your spot and hope they are just the right amount of good for your particular case.
Did you read the thread bro?
Not so much about how the guild performs, it’s just nice to have people to talk to and do content with. I can pug whatever they can’t do.
Yes, you are like the most amazing person irl.
But like i said.
Just don’t join “Polonium Windowsill” I hear they are pretty intense about rules.
So you didn’t read it, got it.
good luck with your endeavor you got an attitude that will not help.
hope you find your spot.
Oh I’m aware bro.
The in-game ones, although Discord is likely much better lol.
In-game communities tend to be like guilds- several are inactive but still listed.
But finding an active one is special.
Doing epic BGs I was invited to a PvP community that was recruiting, and we would PvP together.
Had tons of fun with them, and really opened my eyes to the fact you can play like you’re in a guild without actually being in one.
We’d just see each other online, communicate “battlegrounds?” in the community chat, then next thing you know we’re all queued up.
They are also cross-faction like guilds have become recently.
Basically, the community approached me lol.
Sounds like the other guy who said Mythic Raiding was designed so people could clear it week 1 in last season’s gear but was complaining that dinars required mythic bosses to get myth track (and no, he couldn’t prove that he’d even cleared LFR, let alone raided mythic).
You might want to make it clear what that rule change was to give people a better idea of what you are and are not looking for.
Keep reading the thread, you’ll get to it
For me it’s mostly people I vibe with.
My 2 guilds I am a part of:
Aussie one - Friend was in it and I liked the company, especially raid.
US one - I was initially in a guild with a friend who quit, some of the folks were already in another guild who i really vibed with.
Best ones I’ve had are ones that I’ve bonded with naturally rather than ones that recruited me.
Lol, well that’s a tall order for me.
Not had the best experiences?
Could put it that way
