I was just talking with a guildie last night about my favorite raids, which were BC’s Kara and ZA. He never even heard of it and when we looked in the adventure guide, it wasnt even there.
Ive been gone for a long time, but am i imagining the raid? It was in ghostlands from what i remember. Why did they remove it??
Still there but now its just a 5 man dungeon and its listed in the cata dungeons list.
Ahhh. Ok. Thats rather random. Is it the same? Just 5 mannable now? Does it come out during timewalking?
It was converted to a 5 Man dungeon during the troll patch for cata, it and Zul Gurub were.
They didnt add it to timwalking so you can only really qye for it in the cata level bracket but you can still go there to where the raid was and enter it and solo it for drops.
A lot of originals were released in different expansions, which is sad.
One thing I do miss though is the class Upper Blackrock. Though, heard that was a raid before it turned into a dungeon as well.
Not sure though if that is true.
it was a mega dungeon basically, and back in classic you could enter dungeons as a raid group so people would 10 man it to make it easier. they used to do it with Scholomance too.
5 man ZA is pretty much the same as the 10 man, with some differences towards the end. In the same patch, they turned ZG into a 5 man as well. THAT one is completely different from the original.

They made Zul’aman and Zul’gurub heroic only 5 mans. I want to say they did it in Cataclysm.
It is pretty much the same as the raids, although I was only in the raid versions once, so I could be wrong.
