Hi All!
I am very intrigued by mythic dungeons. I really love idea of the challenge and all its aspects. I personally get very nervous entering higher keys as it I hate the idea of ruining someone’s key.
My question is what sources do you recommend for learning the best routes and habits for mythic? I want to learn good habits and not accidently do something that worked in lower keys that will translate into a wipe at higher keys. I’ve heard of raiderio, which I will be downloading on my next day off, but my big worry is the pulls and such. I want to be a good tank and want to start with a good foundation. All input gladly accepted! Thank you in advance!

Once the key is put in you are the leader of the group, with that people will focus on you for the good and the bad. You will have people angry at you and you will have people thank you when it goes well. Develop a thick skin and take constructive criticism.
Mythic dungeon tools is great to pre-plan but unlike dps that just follows along you need to do your research and watch a ton of videos.
This comment resonates so much with me. I have such a deep level of respect for high level tanks, knowing the pulls, percentages, and dealing with different personalities. I find it so commendable. Do you have any streamers or channels you would recommend to gather tips from?
Mostly on youtube, just be careful to look at recent videos. There are a lot of people that made videos in beta and the mechanics work differently now.
Also be careful of videos made by MDI players such as naowh, unless you have a coordinated team of skilled players a lot of the tactics will not work.
Quazii is fun to watch because he pugs a lot and points out his own mistakes.

Excellent! Thank you so much for the input, I really appreciate the direction. I find there is a sea of information, and having some input really helps me prioritize.
slow, easy, breaths from the stomach while you tank dungeons to try and control your nervousness.
in the beginning you WILL ruin people’s key and they will be piss at you, but practice and don’t give up if you want to tank.
run heroic, mythic 0 for practice then mythic 2’s for timing practice. work your way up to higher keys when you are comfortable and want to push higher keys.

nobody likes a noob, be prepare for the hate/toxic people, but its part of the game and you learn to accept it and make the best of it.
-
you’ll make mistakes in the beginning and wipe, but don’t give up.
-
let your teammates know its your first time in a dungeon, they’ll probably give advice on the route.
-
as a demon hunter you will be hard to heal if your gear is low so use defense cool downs.
-
watch your healers mana during breaks after a pull/boss and take breaks for them to drink.
-
do /readychecks to make sure everyone is ready and use raid icons (star for tank, blue square for healer) to mark you and the healer for better visual when the screen gets crowded with adds.
-
keep an eye on your healer just in case they get aggro.
-
get a weakaura from luxthos website for demon hunters and practice your rotation on a training dummy.

good luck Winterr Soldier.
Wow i’m actually quite warmed with the support. I really appreciate this. I’ll be downloading this addon and study the best I can. I like your small steps approach, and you hit the nail on the head with nervousness (I feel that a lot). Again, thank you. I really want to develop as a better player and be a benefit to my group, taking all of these tips into practice.
