And there has been a freeway and airport in Des Moines taking you there for years. The question remains…why? What’s the point? Why care about going there?

Except, they didn’t take it away as it is still there. There is nothing wrong with consolidating portals. The Hellfire port adds seconds at most to your travel time. It isn’t a big deal, and you’re complaining for the sake of complaining.

I am not sure where the horde one is but the alliance is in the same place but you just talk to an npc and I know it takes you to blasted lands.

Not anymore since Ion and Co took away the portals. The only reason I play this game is to set my robots up and then watch Netflix.

Horde side - go to the Under City zeppelin tower, take that portal.

When you land in UC, there’s a portal next to your zone in point. Is that the one you’re looking for?

Terrible advice.

Take the zeppelin from Org to Booty Bay and fly from there.

I had to check on a Horde character, and if you are in Org, take the zepelin to Strangletorn Vale. From there it is a short flight to Blasted Lands. Really no harder than it was before. Or you could ask a mage to portal you to Swamp of Sorrows.

Stonard is the closest one, but that’s for Horde-only.

I’m leveling a ztroll. I find myself spending even less time outside of org than I ever did. I just sit in .org and spam dungeons I’ve lost all-drive to go anywhere.

Agree 100%. I even (HORROR) bought the $60US 110 boost after spending three days trying to level my 20 Z-Troll in Hillsbrad Foothills. I figured I’d die or kill myself long before I got the baby Z-Troll from 20 to 110, so it might be money well (?) spent.
