Anyways, “cancel culture” has been around for what…30…40 years? Meh. People now just get upset they get called out for being jerks.

Look around folks quit. Only reason I am around is I don’t group much if at all except timewalking. I learned to avoid peoplein this game and am enjoying this more than ever. No discord, twitch none of that for the last few years does wonders.

Im 57.
From my experience we were all getting along until about 2010 or so. Felt like things started falling apart about that time. More rudeness. My city here hasnt gotten the worst of it, but attitudes sure got worse than they were before then.
Its just bad enough I consider leaving the city i grew up in and loved…but not quite bad enough yet to do it.

I mean… Depending on who you ask. I’m not saying in culture wars we haven’t swung too hard in one way… But chill in what sense? That we could make fun of each other and laugh it off? Yes. I do miss that. Everyone takes themselves a little too seriously these days
But a lot of things changed for the better too because we started making a fuss. Like everything in this world there’s ups and downs to any topic/concept/idea
I think things where ok until the social media came out, things like facebook, Tik Tok, instagram, and other things , people started posting and saying boycott this and that, i dont like this and that, constant complaining… I didnt notice change with people since my state already had the jersey attitude lol

Well,considering what I just went through it is hidden in insulting gaslighting and a very clever vip.
Maybe the people complaining about toxicity got ticker skin.
