So… I created this Drake a while ago in Wowhead but I haven’t seen the white scales in game. Is there any update on them?
Oh that’s slick. Probably something in a future patch? That’s a shame because that looks really good.

The proper term for those scales would be Albino.

Okay. Do you know where the albino scales would be?
My guess is wait for the 2 other raid / zone content updates, they will most likely add missing skins, new skins we haven’t seen and even that noodle dragon mount.

jk I think they might have died off from Albinism, Vitiligo, Leprosy etc like the rare mount.
Yeah I’m a bit disappointed in the lack of drake scale colors. There should be challenges or drops that reward new ones.
We could get Thundering scales from Razageth that has crackling electricity and rocky skin, or a rare Twilight Dragon scale that could drop from Mythic N’zoth. White scales could be from pet battle loot bags or something. There should be scale colors for things other than the basic five colors. Maybe in a future patch.

Let’s hope. The five colors seems a little bland. I’d really like to see textured colors too, like the lightning one you mentioned, or a flame one.

Scientifically speaking, as most of the dragon colors represent a flight in wow, I don’t see it as likely we will be getting albino drakes in the customization menu. They fly pretty close to the sun and having some magical protection hues might help, as black dragons also safeguard the deep places in Azeroth closer to its magma core.
I didn’t know that about the white drakes. That’s really cool. But I’m hoping they expand on colors anyways. There’s so many options for even different colors of metal, too, like silver and gold and bronze. Those drakes have always existed in a lot of fantasy lore.

valdrakken accord level 12 has a questline called silver purpose and the text says questline “the gift of silver” from alexstrasza so maybe thats it
