Where did "heating up" icon go?

Was playing around with a low level fire mage, using fire starter talent. I noticed that there is no longer a “heating up” icon in the middle of the screen where it used to be. It’s at the top right corner, but I don’t usually look there after every cast of fireball. With Firestarter, I don’t normally look because I assume I got the buff, but I was in a dungeon casting fireball after fireball, and the “heating up” was not where I thought it was, so I missed out several instant casts of pyroblast.

Is there a way to track this with weakauras addon?

Does your ui not flash fire on either side of your character when you proc it?

Forum says you’re using wow Classic if you mean classic, then no, there is no indicator.

If you’re playing retail, you somehow turned off the indicator. You can alter the “spell alert opacity” and turn it off, in interface options.
