I just want to replace my ilvl 286 that i got from quest for a 300+ blue/purple . I’ve been getting plenty of purples and blues from heroic dungeon and raiding but my terrible weapon still is the same.
Any way to buy or craft one or get it by doing quests?
If you know any blacksmiths, they can make you a dagger to replace yours.
Bought a 340 ilvl bs spellblade for 7k gold from the auction house. 20 min later got a 345 ilvl gladiator one. Couldn’t return the spellblade beacuse i had already equipped it
Weapons have always been one of the hardest slots to get upgrades for, except during the Legion expansion due to a disproportionately low drop rate for them.
Obviously you’ve found that you can purchase crafted ones, although that will only get you so far, as crafted weapons (like all crafted gear) have an ilevel cap.
If you want higher ilevel weapons, your best shot will be to simply run an appropriate difficulty (based on your preference) of the current season raid every week, and/or to target high level Mythic+ keys for the specific dungeon(s) where your preferred weapon is available.
