compares to DF, this expansion’s wpvp got nothing else, am I missing something?
We still have them, it’s just that only 2 can be up at a time and there’s 2 for each zone.
Just have to look on the map for each zone to see which are up.
Yes all elites or unique chest drop sparks.
Easiest way is to do snuffling (those purple dirt piles) those are unique and they spawn elites. Should give 5 sparks per. Sometimes there are 3 piles next to each other. Be done in 30 mins.
Snuffling is my favorite open world content too. Love the mini-games that spawn and it’s amazing gold from materials.
i have world quest tracker, do i need to be in war mode to see them on map? since i don’t see any at all
in DF we also had 2 tiers of gear that can farm, here only bought by blood token that’s it? it’s just another track of conquest dupe

The blue/rare WM gear can only be obtained randomly through WPvP WQs now and isn’t obtainable on the vendor.
The purple/epic WM gear is what’s obtainable on the vendor through Bloody Tokens only now. This is 3 PvP ilvls less than Conquest, so about almost the same.
I am still hoping they bring back something like the BFA invasions. Those were fun hotspots for PvP.
how do you see those on map? or have to fly around in war mode?
They don’t appear on the map. You just see them on the ground, can usually spot from a good distance since they are purple. They are in every zone. There are snuffling guides/vids on farming them.
Hallowfall farm area usually has a lot surrounding them. I just always keep my eyes peeled when mining and looting chest. They have some really good materials used in crafting including profane tinderbox which goes for up too 10k.
Also the old globs of wax are turned in to the vendor you get from them. Which gives you 10 valor stones each and they give you a token to buy a box of materials. I get the mining one for the null stone.
Snuffling is also known as Old glob of wax farming. As your renown gets higher too it gets more rewards. I’m addicted to it. Sometimes you get Rare mini-game spawn. Like protect a bag of loot against these goblin theives. Then big bag of loot at end.
Also if you in the spider zone they will also drop Kej if you are farming that for something from the vendors.

have to be in war mode right? thing is as a arcane mage, really not safe flying around searching in wm really hate to enter a fight out of nowhere
You have to be in warmode and the correct zone to collect sparks. Yes.
You don’t have to be in warmode to be snuffling. That is just the new open world activity but with Warmode on it also rewards sparks or any other unique resource depending on the zone.
I mean there are just so many randomly it’s not very contested. You land dig the dirt, loot or get an elite spawn or mini-game.
