In raids like Blackrock Foundry and Legion’s Antorus the Burning Throne or Nighthold the bosses no longer drop tier tokens.
What does this achieve other than slowing down the progress of building tier sets for transmog? If I am a paladin and I get priest or warlock tier, I just lost my opportunity at getting a tier piece because there is no token anymore.
Has Blizz given any indication for this change?
It happened when they introduced the Legacy Loot rules.
It’s a consequence of them switching everything to personal loot (where you’d just get the item directly instead of the token).
I doubt it’s anything they’re going to bother changing again. Yeah, it’s annoying, but you just have to have patience.
Blackhand drops tokens for any piece of tier.

Well I’m waiting to level up in Shadowlands so I can farm mythic Antorus solo and with no tokens in that raid, who knows how long it will take to farm a set…
